2007 Form 1099-DIV

The 2007 Form 1099-DIV was sent to print before new reporting regulations were finalized.

RICs will no longer report to their shareholders the name of the foreign country or U.S. possession in box 7 of Form 1099–DIV for foreign taxes shown in box 6. Box 7 of Forms 1099-DIV issued by RICs will be blank. Individuals should continue to claim a credit or deduction for the foreign taxes shown in box 6.
